Navratri Makeup Look: Step By Step Guide

Steps To Create Navratri Makeup Look
Start by cleansing your skin: To begin with, use a gentle cleanser or merely a toner to remove any pollutants from your skin.
Apply a light moisturiser to your face: This will help hydrate any dry patches and keep your skin from turning too greasy during the day.
If you have oily skin, use a gel-based moisturiser that absorbs quickly instead of a cream-based moisturiser.
Colour correction: To colour correct dark spots or under-eye circles, apply a peach/orange concealer.
Use a peach corrector if the dark patches are light.
If you have hyperpigmentation, an orange corrector is the way to go.
Apply foundation: I used an illuminator before applying my foundation (liquid highlighter).
It enhances the radiance of your Navratri makeup.
After that, use your fingertips to make foundation dots all over your face, then blend with your fingers or a foundation brush.
Work in all directions outwards from the centre.
Check that your foundation matches your skin tone, and if in doubt, choose a lighter shade rather than a darker one.
Highlight your high points: To make your Navratri look stand out, emphasise your face’s high points.
The nose bridge, cupid’s bow, chin, forehead, and inner and outer corners of your under-eyes are the high points of your face.
After that, set the concealer and your face with a translucent powder.
Using your beauty blender, apply it to your face in a pressing motion.
If you use a powder brush, you’ll end up with a lot of loose powder.
Using a powder brush, remove any excess powder.
If you’re using a powder brush, tap off any extra powder before applying it to your face in circular strokes.
Eye Makeup: Begin by concealing your eyelids with a concealer or eye primer.
It gives you a clean slate while also enhancing your eye makeup.
For the crease, a neutral tone would be ideal.
I started with a black Maybelline Colossal Kajal on the upper eyelid.
Simply apply it to the centre of your eyelid and blend with your fingertip or a brush.
Then, to add extra colour, use a black shade from the Makeup Revolution Palette.
Use a glitter colour now that the base is nicely blended.
I used the Quartz colour of MyGlamm Eyeshadow Pencil for this.
Apply it all over your eyelid and mix it in with your fingers.
Apply and smudge black kajal in the waterline to complete your Navratri eye makeup.
Mascara or false lashes: For lifted, thick and long lashes with no clumps, smears or flakes, use the Maybelline New York Hyper-Curl Waterproof Mascara.
You may achieve this look with either two coats of mascara or falsies.
Blush and contour: Firstly, to restore your face’s definition, contour your cheekbones, jawline, and nose.
Don’t forget to highlight the apple of your cheeks with a little blush.
Finish off your Navratri makeup look with a neutral lipstick that compliments your skin tone.
