Makeup For Beginners : Step By Step

Makeup can do miracles but it doesn’t have to be mysterious. A basic, natural look does not necessitate a great deal of ability or equipment. You can perform a lot of the blending with your fingertips and you can leave out things that you don’t like. So relax and enjoy the process, as well as your new, glowing face! Let’s begin to create our Makeup For Beginners.

Steps To Create A Makeup Look For Beginners

Begin by cleansing your skin: To remove any impurities from your skin, wash with a light cleanser or just apply a toner.

Apply a mild moisturizer to your skin: This will help hydrate any dry patches on your skin and prevent your skin from becoming excessively oily during the day.

If you have oily skin, don’t forego moisturizer altogether; instead, opt for a gel-based solution that will absorb fast.

Apply a light foundation or a tinted moisturizer: Apply a few dots to your forehead, cheeks, nose and chin with your fingertips, then blend with your fingers or a foundation brush.

Work outwards from the centre in all directions.

Also, make sure your foundation matches your skin tone, and if in doubt, go for a little lighter shade rather than a darker one.

This will prevent you from appearing orange and give you a more natural appearance.

Apply a small amount of concealer under the eyes: Dot a bit where the darkest under-eye circles are, usually around the inner and outer corners of the eye.

Use a small pointed brush.

Apply a little more to any other flaws that aren’t covered by the foundation.

Use a translucent powder to set the concealer and moisturizer.

Apply it to your face in a pressing motion, ideally using a velvety powder puff.

Avoid using a powder brush, it leaves a lot of loose powder.

Further, remove any extra powder with a powder brush.

If you’re applying using a powder brush, tap off any excess powder before applying in circular motions to your face.

Apply eyeshadow to your upper eyelid in the color of your choice.

Try a single neutral tone like taupe if you’re a newbie.

Make rapid, short swipes across the lid using a rounded shadow brush or your finger, working your way up to the brow bone.

Make use of eyeliner: Apply a black or brown pencil in small strokes along the rim of your top lash line.

Apply mascara on your lashes: Apply to the top and lower lashes, aiming the wand’s tip at the outer corner of your eye.

For this appearance, one coat should be enough.

Apply blush: As you do so, smile to make it easier to see where the apples are.

Also, add a dab of blush to your cheeks and blend upwards towards your temples..

Apply lipstick or lip gloss:  Dab the lip color into the centre of your upper and lower lips.

The first application can be straight from the tube; then mix outwards with your fingers, adding color as desired with your fingertips.

Summing up, check yourself in bright light, preferably daylight, to ensure that everything is blended and attractive.

Bingo!!! You’re done with the Makeup Look For Beginners.
